The Croatian National Tourist Board has just established successful cooperation with the British public service broadcaster BBC.
The cooperation includes the production of three 60 seconds long videos that portray Croatia as an attractive all-year tourist destination, production of three accompanying articles and advertising activities on BBC online platforms, from May to September on 12 key markets.
The BBC team visited Osijek, Zadar, Split, Dubrovnik, Klis, NP Paklenica and other destinations where they recorded eno-gastronomic themes, cultural and historical heritage and other interesting locations especially the ones connected with the world-famous “Game of Thrones” series.
Other activities within this cooperation include content placement via BBC Story Works social media channels on Facebook, Twitter and Instagram, and the creation of websites on BBC.com where there will be video and written material about Croatia.
The countries covered by this cooperation and on which the materials will be presented are Germany, USA, Austria, Russia, Italy, France, Poland, Czech Republic, Sweden, Norway, Belgium and Switzerland.
