Lorist – the 51st International Fair of Tourism was held from 4th to 7th October in Novi Sad, and there are some great news for Lika-Senj County!
For the first time, tourism subjects from Lika-Senj County participated in this international evaluation, thanks to the support of the Plitvice Lakes Tourist Board and the Croatian Chamber of Commerce of Otočac, and achieved remarkable results. Company Velebit activities j.d.o.o. from Otočac was awarded a gold medal for outstanding offer and service in tourism. Adria Bike Marathon Plitvice was awarded a gold medal for authenticity and contribution to the development of tourism in the region. Korenica High School Plitvice Lakes was awarded with a silver medal for a high level of education of staff in tourism and hospitality.
Lorist, has a rich tradition of five decades during which it has gained a high reputation in the country and worldwide and the Fair participants were tourist professionals.
The Fair was based on the new concept grounds, aiming to position this fair as the central event for professional and wider audiences in the fields that influence sustainable management of natural resources of the Danube Region – tourism, hunting, angling, ecology, forestry and sport.
The major focus point of the International Tourism Fair (ITF) were B2B meetings of foreign and domestic tour operators, travel organizers and agencies supported by Serbian Ministry of Trade, Tourism and Telecommunications.
