Tourism and Sport Minister Nikolina Brnjac has decided to establish an advisory task force for the recovery of the tourist trade in the post-COVID period and for the preparation of the tourist season in 2021, the ministry said in a press release.

The 31-member task force is expected to seek solutions for the tourism sector’s adjustment to the situation marked by the consequences of the crisis caused by the COVID-19 pandemic and for successful recovery from the crisis, Minister Brnjac was quoted as saying.

The advisory task force will include representatives of the tourism ministry, the Croatian National Tourism Board (HTZ), the Chamber of Commerce (HGK), as well as of the associations of hoteliers, travel agencies, hospitality sector’ organisations and other associations.
