Her Autumn fantasy fairytale

HUMANS OF PLITVICE

Alessia Memoli, an Italian girl from the Dolomites, with a photography and travelling around the world as her real passion, visited Plitvice Lakes two times during Autumn.

“For me, it was one of the most important Europe trips. I`ve visited Croatia in 2013 for the first time and after 4 years I came back in the same period because I realized that Autumn here is a special time to take pictures. I really like Plitvice because of the typical vegetation around waterfalls. I think it’s a paradise for every photographer!

Her favourite picture was taken at the sunrise while the light was appearing, from the highest point of the park where you can see the biggest waterfall.

“Having visited so many countries, I have found that Plitvice is a unique place in the world so rich of waterfalls and various vegetation in a small area. I absolutely recommend Plitvice national park as a “must” see destination in Croatia. My advice is to visit the park in October with full colours, but every season is good! I’m really curious to discover frozen waterfalls in the winter period, so I hope to come back soon and take nice pictures!”
