Cafes in Croatia will again be allowed to reopen their indoor sections from the 1st of September, head of the national COVID-19 response team, Davor Božinović, said at press conference.

Božinović said that cafes will once again be able to open indoor areas on the condition they comply with epidemiological restrictions which will be defined by the public health institute.

Cafes have not been allowed to accept customers in inside sections since November 2020 and have only been allowed to open terraces if they have them.

Guests were allowed to use the toilets inside and had to wear a mask when entering.

Although the details of the measures from September 1 are not yet known, working hours of the cafe are set to remain until midnight. Distance between the tables and everything else similar to last year before closing last year.
