British media Condé Nast Traveler and Telegraph specialize in lifestyle topics and travel, published two articles about the most beautiful Croatian islands that provide a unique synergy of tradition, history and a relaxed lifestyle, said Darija Reić, director of the CNTB Office in London, reports htz.hr.

The article in Condé Nast Traveler reveals 15 mysterious but recognizable islands that guarantee an unforgettable and authentic vacation outside the busy tourist hotspots. The author Jane Foster itemised selected islands with a prominent eno-gastronomic offer, artistic creativity, idyllic landscapes and active experiences. Some of them are Dugi Otok, Vis, Korčula, Šipan, Mljet, Obonjan, Kornati, Lošinj, Sveti Klement, Pag and Veliki Brijun, and activities range from tasting Pag cheese and quality lamb, cycling on the ‘greenest Croatian island’ Mljet, to wine tasting Pošip on Korčula and enjoying the sandy bays on Rab.

In Telegraph‘s guide through the Croatian islands, entitled “Why Croatia offers a top island adventure“, the destinations that every tourist should get to know this year are singled out. We recommend 12 days dedicated to exploring the islands and the Croatian coast, which provides ideal ferry connections to the best of Kvarner, Zadar, Split-Dalmatia and Dubrovnik-Neretva counties.
