Sultan Kösen is the tallest living man in the world – 2.51 m! He is Turkish and was born on December 10th, 1982.

Although Turkey is home of the tallest man in the world, the average height of turkish men is around 165.2 cm.

According to World Population Review’s 2022 report on the average height by countries around the globe, the Netherlands is the country will tallest people in the world right now!

Despite being the tallest, the average height for Dutch people is shrinking. Dutch men born in 2001 are 0.39 inches, or 1 centimetre shorter than those born in 1980. Dutch women born in 2001 are 0.55 inches, or 1.4 centimetres shorter than those born twenty years earlier.
