Croatian Post and Polish Post are issuing a joint edition of commemorative postage stamps on the theme of natural resources.

The stamps will be put in circulation on 2 December and will feature the motifs of the Ston saltworks in Croatia and the Bochnia salt mine in Poland, the Croatian postal service announced in a press release on Tuesday.

The stamps were designed by Polish designer Marzanna Dąbrowska, and Croatian designer Alenka Lalić adapted them for the Croatian edition. The photographs are by Damir Kovačić from Croatia and Adam Brzoza from Poland.

The stamps will be issued in 30,000 copies per motif.

The joint edition was realised at the initiative of the Polish Embassy in Zagreb.
