First Instameet at Plitvice Lakes – domestic and foreign influencers arriving!

SAVE THE DATE!

Next weekend it’s definitely going to be interesting in the Plitvice Lakes Municipality! Instameet, the popular get together of influencers, i.e. Instagram stars, bloggers, reporters and YouTube stars from all around the world is taking place on 21 and 22 January. Participants are arriving from Slovenia, Japan, Hungary, Ukraine and Croatia, and together they have nearly a million followers on social networks such as Instagram, Twitter, Youtube and Facebook.

In addition to holding a panel discussion on social network trends, which is the primary reason for the meetup, the participants will also take part in a photo tour, visit tourist destinations and landmarks, enjoy domestic specialties and, of course, document all of that on their channels for promotion.

The Plitvice Lakes Municipality Tourist Board, a partner on this project along with Plitvice Lakes National Park, Rakovica Municipality Tourist Board, Barać Caves and other business entities, state that the participants cover traveling, photography, lifestyle and gastronomy, which put together presents an incredible opportunity for promotion.

“This is surely going to be a very pleasant weekend, and we’re looking forward to the fact that many photos and videos are going to be seen around the world, which is why we always happily support projects such as this one.”

It is also interesting to point out that one of the participants is Pavlo Fedykovych, a blogger who writes for CNN Travel and Lonely Planet.

Each of the participants has their loyal audience who follow them because of the diversity of the content they create. Here are some of the influencers who will be staying here for the weekend so make sure to follow them on social networks!

Today this emerald Soča River (photo by @brianwlackey) has reached 2.000 cubic meters per second, a level measured only for the fourth time in a history of measurements! Huge amounts of snow in Alps melted in a few hours, accompanied by heavy rains and strong winds. No photos tagged though. Quite a few other parts of Slovenia are flooded too and winds caused a lot of damage, mostly in mountains regions. . Selected by @zokus_gf, co- founder of Igslovenia. . The River Soča, which has a distinct emerald green colour, is considered to be one of the most beautiful rivers in Europe. Its water flows across waterfalls, small waterfalls, and cascades as well as through narrow rocky gorges, and along the way it has carved surprising canyons and pools /slovenia.info/ ==================================== Tag #igslovenia for a chance to be featured. .
