More than a million tourists visit Croatia daily!

According to data from the eVisitor system, for the first time this year, more than one million guests are staying in Croatia daily, of which around 900,000 are foreign, reports htz.hr.

Looking at the counties, Istria (about 277,000), Split-Dalmatia County (about 188,000), Kvarner (about 185,000) and Zadar County (about 167,000) currently have the most guests. Looking at the destinations, the biggest number of guests are currently staying in Rovinj, Vir, Medulin, Poreč, Umag and Dubrovnik.

Data from the eVisitor system also show that the most numerous guests are currently from the markets of Germany, Slovenia, the domestic market, Austria, Poland and the Czech Republic. Looking at the type of accommodation, most guests are currently staying in household facilities (about 434,000 of them), camps (about 205,000 of them) and hotels (about 157,000 of them), while about 24,000 guests are currently staying in nautical charters.

Last year, we exceeded the number of one million guests daily for the first time on July 26, while this year this number was exceeded almost a week earlier. This is a confirmation of the very good tourist trends in July, in the part of which we have so far achieved 97 percent of the results from the same period in July, a record 2019.
