UNDER THE STARS Stone church of St. Francis

IMPRESSIVE

Everything looks better under the stars, don`t you think? The best proof is this stunningly beautiful photo of stone church of St. Francis by the photographer Bojan Širola.

The lovely church was built by the Emperor of Austria Francis I in 1832 to celebrate the newly-built road that connected southern and northern Croatia.

The other, equally beautiful photo shows Tulove grede under a starry sky. Tulove grede are one of the most scenic parts of Velebit mountain and a very interesting and beautiful karst phenomenon.

They are located in the southern part of Velebit Nature Park, in the area above Obrovac and the river Zrmanja canyon. The easiest access by car is the old Majstorska road from the direction of Obrovac.

Just magical!
