STARTING TODAY Cafes in Croatia can operate indoors under special criteria

EPIDEMIOLOGICAL RECOMMENDATIONS

From today, cafes can operate indoors under special criteria, ie epidemiological recommendations, hrturizam.hr reports.

The Croatian Institute of Public Health (HZJZ) has announced Recommendations for the prevention of COVID-19 disease in catering facilities indoors with and without terraces and in catering facilities in accommodation facilities.

Thus, the number of visitors is limited so that 4 m2 of space is provided for each guest. Notice of the maximum number of visitors within the enclosed part of the space must be clearly displayed at the entrance to the facility. Also, at the entrance should be clearly displayed a notice of the obligation to maintain a distance of at least 1,5 meters between visitors and between visitors and staff.

Tables should be arranged so as to maintain a physical distance between different groups of guests of 1,5 meters. Organized groups of guests can sit at tables, and the distance between individual groups of guests in the facility must be at least 1,5 meters.

It is also obligatory to wear face masks for employees. Indoors, it is mandatory to wear face masks for guests on arrival and departure from the premises and when going to the toilet, ie until they sit at their tables.
