The first Croatian village of digital nomads announced

MEET DIGITAL NIOMAD VALLEY ZADAR

A new milestone in spreading the Croatian story of digital nomads is ahead of us. The first Croatian village of digital nomads has been announced – Digital Valley of the Nomads Zadar, which will be located in Zadar’s Borik, more precisely within the Falkensteiner resort, hrturizam.hr reports.

This project is part of a new grabAhome initiative called Work Remotely Croatia, which hopes to build more similar communities across Croatia in order to promote and advocate for sustainable tourism in Croatia.

Everyone knows that Croatia has a lot to offer digital nomads. From natural beauty to culture, architecture, gastronomy and most importantly, the Mediterranean way of life, he points out Mario Mrkša, co-founder and director of grabAhome, a platform for finding accommodation for two weeks to a year, and adds:

“However, we also recognize that the attractiveness of a country is not enough in itself, but a sense of community is important to digital nomads and remote workers. So I am very happy to announce a project that would, I hope, attract even more digital nomads to visit this beautiful country and create strong and lasting communities across the country.”States Mrkša.

The first Croatian village of digital nomads will officially open on October 10, and the prices of accommodation will range from 130 EUR per week to more (rental price 7 weeks), but the shortest rental is two weeks at a time. That’s a minimum of 520 euros for four weeks, significantly less than the average apartment rent in much of Europe.

Digital nomads will have at their disposal mobile homes with the possibility of independent accommodation or with more digital nomads, coworking offices, restaurants, cafes, sports facilities and all other facilities within Borik, various facilities will be organized, but most importantly a large community of digital nomads will have on one place.

This project starts from October 10 to March 31, 2022, with the possibility of extension. Find out more information HERE
