THIS FRIDAY Three new hiking trails at Barać Caves to be opened

WOLF, LYNX AND BEAR

Three newly renovated and traced educational-recreational hiking trails, named after the large animals that live there will be opened on Friday, July 31, at 11 a.m. at Barać Caves in Rakovica, south-central Croatia.

The trails named Vučja (wolf), Risja (lynx) and Medvjeđa (bear) will offer a new experience for all hikers, recreationists and nature lovers who pass through Barać’s caves in the tens of thousands every year.

The trails are located in a protected area, and on them you can spend from 20 minutes to 3 hours of pleasant walks through deciduous forests and grasslands, following in the footsteps of wild animals.

In addition to signs and markings, digital maps have been designed for easy download to a mobile phone. This is another tourist attraction for the Plitvice region, where Barać Caves are located and which is annually visited by many tourists from all over the world and makes it a unique excursion destination.

Visitors are always looking for additional facilities to extend their stay, and this is one of them and it is predicted that tens of thousands of people will pass through the new educational trails this year.
