50 g of sugar
200 ml of lukewarm milk
1 tablespoon lemon zest
50 ml of oil
10 g vanilla sugar
1 egg

Stuffing (walnut)

200 g ground walnuts
80 g of sugar
150 ml of milk
1 tablespoon lemon juice

Stuffing (poppy seeds)

200 g of ground poppy seeds
80 g of sugar
25 g of semolina
200 ml of milk

Baking and serving

40 g butter
Powdered sugar

Preparation

Dough

1. Activate the yeast
Combine sugar, 200 g flour, crumbled yeast and milk. Leave for 10 to 15 minutes for the mixture to work and raise a little.

2. Combine ingredients
After the mixture has set a little, add the oil, lemon zest, sour cream, egg yolks and vanilla sugar. Mix well to combine the ingredients. In a separate bowl, combine the remaining flour and salt.

3. Knead the dough
Gradually add the flour and knead the dough, which should remain a little sticky so that it does not dry out too much and crack on the sides during baking.

4. Design
Shape the dough into a ball, cover with a clean cloth and leave for half an hour to rise. After half an hour, knead the dough a little and leave it for another hour to rest and rise. While you wait for the dough to rise, prepare the stuffing for the walnuts and poppy seeds.
