Minister of Tourism Gari Cappelli emphasised that the achieved results are the proof of the successful positioning of Croatia as a quality all year round destination.

“The growth of tourism in October, as well as throughout the year is an excellent example of the change of the perception of Croatia as a tourist destination on the global tourist market, in other words, our increasingly better positioning as an all year round destination. I am especially pleased that during the previous month amongst the most numerous guests have been those from the USA, China and South Korea. This is one more confirmation of how our present activities and programmes aimed at the strengthening of our presence on distant markets and the improvement of air connections have given excellent results, and additional interest in Croatia also been shown by many the air travellers at the London tourist fair. This winter Croatia will be connected to more than 100 destinations throughout Europe and the world, and for the following year we will invest 40 million kunas in the existing air travel programme which I believe will contribute to even better results”, said Minister Cappelli.
