In its decoration, Rovinj Advent celebrates the sea and Rovinj’s heritage – the small fishing boat batana, which is unique to Rovinj, reports vecernji.hr.

The main town square is dominated by a large pine tree decorated with sea motifs, while an Advent wreath surrounds the fountain in the center of the square.

Prodan truffles, Pisinium prosciutto, Reginex bakery products and cakes, Agrolaguna wines, Kumparička cheeses, Japanese delicacies from the restaurant Tekka by Lone, cocktails and mulled wine from Katarina’s Patisserie, and promotional products from ACI are present in eight Advent booths.

A program for the youngest is organized, including performances by the Valdibora band, Roxanne dance group, Rovinj majorettes, brass bands and a DJ.

With the concert of the group Vatra, a special ecological rink made of synthetic ice will officially open its doors on December 9. In addition to ice skating, children will be delighted by a rich children’s program.

On New Year’s Eve, Tony Cetinski and Atomsko Sklonište will perform on the square. On New Year’s Eve, the classic fireworks will be replaced by spectacular and at the same time environmentally friendly laser fireworks that will illuminate the Rovinj sky.
