British model, entrepreneur, activist, humanitarian and ex-wife of the famous Paul McCartney – all this is Heather Mills, reports Likaclub.
She first came to the fore in ’93, when she lost her lower leg in a collision with a police motorcycle. But that did not stop her from realizing her dreams. Mills is best known for her humanitarian work and engagement during the Homeland War, but also for the founding of the Adopt A Minefield campaign, which is credited with clearing mines in war-torn areas around the world.
The tireless Heather visited Croatia these days, and she entrusted the connection with our country to the host of In Magazine, Ana Veli.
“I love Karlobag. I love swimming there. It is less crowded than on Pag across the street. I’m a little too old for that. I like to go to the small city center. I thought they wouldn’t recognize me there, that it would be peaceful. But people thanked me for clearing the mines, so… I’m relaxed there and it’s nice.”said Heather.
