Zadar Airport marked an exceptional result. For the first time in its 54-year-long history, the millionth passenger passed through the Zadar airport, reports croatianaviation.com.

It happened on the inbound Ryanair flight FR6464 from Brussels, and the lucky passenger was Julie Fisser, a 26-year-old Belgian citizen. On that occasion, the director of Zadar Airport, Josip Klišmanić, presented the lucky passenger with commemorative gifts and 2 return tickets to the destination of her choice from Zadar.

Congratulating passengers, director Klišmanić emphasized the importance of the 2022 season, which is a turning point in Zadar Airport’s operations.

“A million passengers, and for the first time in 2022, after the Covid crisis, a big drop in traffic and a difficult recovery, did not happen to us by chance. In the following years, I am sure great things will follow, not only in terms of increasing traffic but also in terms of the projects that will follow. I would also like to take this opportunity to thank all the employees of Zadar Airport, who are truly the most deserving of this result.” – said Zadar Airport Director Josip Klišmanić.
