The first cheese produced by the traditional cheese-making process on Velebit, ie in the area of Gacka, Lika and Krbava. This hard cow’s milk cheese has the shape of a roll. It matures for at least 6 months. The rind of the cheese is golden yellow. The aroma of the cheese is characteristic of mountain cheeses, and the taste is clean and pleasant.
