This week, Samobor will host the first edition of the Samobor Craft Festival, a new exhibition event, and also the largest festival of small crafts in Croatia. From handmade jewelry to craft boats, through traditional games of gumi-gumi and pikulanje, to the offer of craft breweries, gin producers and wineries – visitors and citizens of Samobor will be able to enjoy a combination of traditional and urban for four days.
Samobor Craft Festival will gather in one place a rich craft and gastronomic offer of valuable and unique handicrafts and gastronomic delights, specific not only for Samobor, but for the whole Croatia.
From ethno jewelry, pottery and craft boats and toys, visitors will be able to get acquainted with the offer of a pleasant walk through the city center, which will be conveniently arranged. Numerous refreshments will be available at every step, which will be catered for by local craft breweries, gin and brandy producers and wineries, as well as delicious snacks, from gingerbread and craft sauces to gastronomic products specific to this region.
A special place at the festival will have the Toy Festival from Ivanić-Grad, which will visit Samobor on this occasion and delight visitors, especially the youngest, by presenting interesting craft toys and many somewhat forgotten games.
In addition to the all-day exhibition and gastronomic program, the Samobor Craft Festival will host, on the stage located in the main town square, respectable names of the domestic rock, pop and hip-hop music scene, which will perform in the evening.
On Thursday, April 21, the opening of the festival will be marked by recognizable hip-hop names: Vojko V and Bora Balboa.
The second festival evening, on Friday, April 22, will be marked by the performance of pop-rock music names: Silente and BluVinil.On
Saturday, April 23: Urban & 4 and Pocket Palma.
On the last day, Sunday, April 24, Samobor Craft Festival will host: Pipschips & videoclips and Porto Morto.
The grand opening of the Samobor Craft Festival is on Thursday, April 21 at 6 pm, followed by a music program. Throughout the remaining days, the festival will be open with an exhibition and gastronomic offer from 10 a.m., while music programs will begin at 7 p.m. on Friday and Saturday and at 6 p.m. on Sunday. Admission to the event is free.
