It was a myth but now we know it`s true! You can actually see Italy from Velebit if you’re really lucky, and the photographer Aleksandar Gospić just proved it.
“Christmas Eve day on the Velebit range and climb to Sveto Brdo peak on the day of impossible visibility! Behind Zadar city, Ugljan, Iž and Dugi otok islands and open Adriatic Sea, 250km distant Monte Vettore (2476m) in the Monti Sibillini group of Italian Apennines rises! To see Apennines during the middle of the day from Velebit with such clarity is really rare!”, writes the author Aleksandar Gospić on his official Facebook page.
