In Otočac, more precisely in the suburban settlement of Prozor, we embarked on a real little summer adventure! We sailed along the beauty of Lika, the emerald green river Gacka, by kayak with Velebit activities.
Gacka meanders through Gacko polje, a large karst field bordered by Velebit towards the sea, and Kapela towards the interior. The water of the river Gacka is extremely clean and rich in oxygen, it can be drunk and it is second in quality in Europe. Known for its abundant and diverse flora and fauna, it is also an excellent destination for trout fishing.
