It is unknown who was the first to uncovered the secrets of the tiny coarse black seeds of aromatic but unattractive taste and smell to many, not how did it happen. However, what is known is that the thick dark oil of black cumin was carried on a journey into eternity by the mighty pharaoh Tutankhamun himself.
The Islamic world traditionally values black cumin mostly because the Prophet Muhammad, convinced of his beneficent power, called it a blessed seed.
Modern science has been researching it for just over 50 years, but these scientific discoveries are just as magnificent as the wondrous, mystical legends about black cumin, its oil in particular.
Black cumin oil contains about 24% monounsaturated and 58% polyunsaturated fatty acids and the biologically active compound thymoquinone (TQ) and its derivatives.
Black cumin oil is dark in color, with an intense aroma and taste. There are countless reasons to always have a bottle of black cumin oil ready in your home.

Countless scientific studies have proven to us that nature offers excellent solutions, we just need to know how to use them. The astonishing synergy of plant substances cannot yet be achieved by artificially produced substances, and to believe that we could do without nature would be a great misconception. Plants have naturally developed a large number of phyto-protective substances or phytonutrients that help them cope with fungal and bacterial infections and allow them to overcome daily stresses. If we eat plant foods, we also consume certain active and protective micro and macro elements that play a significant role in the prevention of various types of diseases and health protection.
