Description
Modro jezero is blend of trnjak, vranac, merlot and cabernet sauvignon. It is a bordeaux style red wine with strong influence of local varieties. Wine was aged in slavonian and french barrique barrels for 24 months and has really good ageing potential.
Color: Deep ruby red color with pale purple shade.
Scent: Very complex aroma with notes of sour cherry, dried fruits, jammy aromas of cooked fruits and herbs aromas followed by blackurrant, spicey, grey pepper, and bell pepper aromas wraped in aromas of chocolate, coffee and blond tobacco as a result of special blend made out of specially chosen grapes of cabernet sauvignon, merlot, trnjak and vranac aged in oak during 24 months.
Palate: Balanced taste between alcohol, smooth tannins and acidity is following consistently the aromatic profile and it gives long lasting and strong aftertaste with aromatic notes of berry fruits typical for cabernet sauvignon.
