All lovers of tasting excellent wines of local winemakers will have an opportunity to experience Croatian wines, because the favorite eno-gastronomic event Vivodina Wine and Walk has been announced.
The unique event, dedicated to local enogastronomy, will be held on May 7th and 14th in the Vivodina region, which with its 26 villages and hamlets within Karlovac County, has long been known for growing vines.
As part of the event, participants will visit nine local wineries, while their walk through the Vivodina region will last as much as seven hours on a route 9 kilometers long. In each winery, with the kind welcome of the hosts, selected wines will be tasted and the secrets of Vivodina winemaking will be revealed. Each participant will receive their start package, which includes a special glass that is worn around the neck all the time, and it remains a nice gift for a souvenir.
The route is carefully planned so that participants can enjoy the beautiful natural beauties of the Vivodina region, which is located within the Nature Park Žumberak – Samoborsko gorje, and there are points for tasting local food. There will be no shortage of fun, and many surprises are planned throughout the route.
The number of participants is limited to 210 people per day who will move along the route in groups of 30 happy participants, and the organizers say that everyone is invited and welcome to the happiest weekend of the year on Vivodina!
