This year’s EUROPEANMOBILITYWEEK theme is “Safe and Healthy with Sustainable Mobility”.
The choice of this year’s theme pays tribute to the hardships felt by Europe – and the world – throughout the COVID-19 pandemic. It also reflects on the opportunities for change resulting from this unprecedented health crisis in Europe.
Cities and urban administrations have established creative, resilient responses to the pandemic. This year, EUROPEANMOBILITYWEEK celebrates the resilience of cities and their achievements, while seeking to sustain this momentum. Trends that began last year, such as increased active mobility and the use of low- or zero-emission mobility, require further promotion.
During the celebration of the European Mobility Week from 16 to 22 September, the City of Zadar gives all guests and citizens 200 minutes of free bike ride with the help of the Next Bikeapplication.
The City of Zadar, as a sponsor of the free rides in that period, invites all their guests and citizens to use both standard or electric public bicycles, which are proven to be the most convenient and simplest of the inner-city transport modes. All you need to do before taking a ride is to download the Nextbike mobile application (App store / Google Play) and activate your account. Free rides are available with the code ETM2021
All other information, as well as a cross-section of previous similar initiatives in Zadar, can be found on the official Facebook page European Mobility Week – Zadar.
