In Plitvice Lakes County, next weekend will be all about fun and culture because everything is set in place for annual Folk Night, an event full of song and dance.
On Saturday, 10 February at 7 PM, everyone is invited to the sports hall of the Plitvice Lakes high school in Korenica to one of the favourite and most visited events, organised by the Croatian Cultural-Artistic Society Korenica for the fifth time.
In addition to the hosts, three other cultural-artistic societies will participate in the programme with their local traditional songs and dances: KUD Dangubice – Kuterevo, KUD Antun Klasinc – Lasinja, and KUD Ljeskovac – Vinkovci.
“This is a night on which we present the cultural heritage of our region as well as the rest of Croatia, as our guests include renowned cultural-artistic societies. We invite all locals and tourists to join us this Saturday at a fun evening of culture and fun in Korenica,” states the Tourist Board of the Plitvice Lakes County.
Save the date this weekend for the Folk Night and enjoy an evening of marvellous culture and tradition, which is kept and best presented by local cultural-artistic societies.
