On Wednesday, January 26, the Adrian Award ceremony was held at the Hotel Degenija. The director of the Croatian National Tourist Board, Kristjan Staničić, presented the award to the owners. This is an award given by Slobodna Dalmacija for 16 years in a row with the support of the Croatian Tourist Board and the National Association of Family and Small Hotels.
The award won is the result of a 2021 competition, which was conducted under the slogan “Holiday without worries“. Hotels with a minimum of 4 stars could participate in the competition, and during its implementation, Slobodna Dalmacija presented all registered hotels, as well as stories about the destinations and the Croatian tourist offer.
This year’s winner is Hotel Degenija, which, in addition to safety and quality of service, stood out for the synergy of the facility with the local community, interesting architecture, landscaped environment, accompanying facilities, and in the destination itself made a gastronomic boom.
“I extend my sincere congratulations to the owners of Hotel Degenija on winning the award, which is more than deserved. We are also very pleased with the successful organization of the Adrian Award, which has not been interrupted during this pandemic, but is continuously supporting family and small hotels. I remind you that these are accommodation facilities that can meet the highest safety and hygiene standards and are characterized by an offer based on individual approach to each guest, authentic experience and values of the destination where they are, “said director Staničić.
