The upcoming three weekends represent the culmination of the traffic season. This weekend marks the beginning of school holidays in Germany (Baden-Württemberg, Bavaria), from where most of our guests come. The highest traffic density is expected on Saturdays and Sundays, so it is advisable to avoid travelling on these days.
On Friday, July 26, dense traffic is expected on the A3 Bregana-Lipovac motorway in the direction east, with waiting times of several hours at the border crossings with Serbia, especially Bajakovo and Tovarnik.
On Saturday, July 27, very dense traffic is expected on most roads. Frequent delays are expected:
- on the A1 Zagreb-Split-Ploče i A6 Rijeka-Zagreb motorways between the Lučko toll station and the Bosiljevo II junction, on the Zagreb A3 bypass from the direction of the Jankomir and Buzin junctions towards the Lučko toll station
- on the motorways in Istria (A8/A9) towards the Kaštel and Plovanija border crossings, before the Učka tunnel and and the Matulji junction in the direction Rijeka
- at the border crossings with Slovenia (Bregana, Macelj, Rupa, Kaštel), Bosnia and Herzegowina (Metković, Zaton Doli, Klek, Slavonski Brod, Stara Gradiška etc.), Serbia (Bajakovo i Tovarnik) and Montenegro (Karasovići)
