British Mirror just published an article titled “Best things to see and do in Croatia and top tips for visiting on a budget”, that speaks about untouched islands, remote lakes, and unspoiled shorelines— wild and beautiful journeys all over the world.

PLITVICE LAKES
Plitvice Lakes national park boasts terraced lakes linked together by waterfalls, making for quite the picture-perfect setting from the turquoise waters to the lush green landscapes. There are plenty of walkways and hiking trails for those who want to go exploring in search of highlights such as the Veliki Slap, a 78m high waterfall. It’s worth noting that you can’t swim in the lakes themselves but the park does make for an incredible way to while away a few hours
