This fun career counselor/coach was the first time in Croatia and wanted to see as much as possible from the country. Of course, Plitvice were on the list. “I live in a big city but when I travel I want to see the nature. Cities are built by people, but nature is built by itself.”, says Stefanie.
And we were interested if she made a good choice?
“I loved Plitvice a lot! The sound of the waterfalls, the blue water, the walks in the park. It’s like walking in paradise! We spent 6 hours at the park. In the afternoon it started raining, but we couldn’t care less. Every tourist left the park and we almost walked alone. It was so peaceful at that time.”
But one experience was even more special, they did not choose a regular sleeping.
“We were sleeping in a tipi-tent! It was a fun experience. I found the place on Airbnb and 4 persons could sleep in one tent. The tipi tents are at a camping space, just 10-15 minutes away from Plitvice.”
Stefanie travels a lot and her favorite place is Norway. “I traveled there last year and it took my breath away. I did the hike to Trolltunga and it was one of the hardest things I ever did. I really tested my limits on that one. It’s a 22-kilometer walk and we did it in 12 hours. But it was worth it, the view is amazing.”
She also wants to see Iceland, and maybe in a few years, she will visit Plitvice again. “But first let me see the world, there is still so much that needs to be discovered. But I can recommend Plitvice and the rest of Croatia to everyone! It’s a beautiful country, nature is amazing!” Well, we agree.
