Up to 50% cheaper holiday in October as “Croatian Tourism Month”

This year October will be “Croatian Tourism Month”, so Croatian and foreign tourists will be able to get a discount of up to 50% on their stay or tourist offer and services in the entire country, Croatian Tourist Board (HTZ) Director Kristjan Staničić told Hina.

This joint project of the Ministry of Tourism and Sports and the HTZ is currently in its preparation phase, and all important information will be released through HTZ’s campaign, Staničić said, recalling the very good results of last year’s project “Week of Vacation Worth”, of which the “Croatian Tourism Month” is an upgrade.

Motivated by the desire to prolong the season as much as possible, and respecting the suggestions of users on the one hand and service providers on the other, we have decided, together with the Ministry of Tourism and Sports to offer up to 50% cheaper stay to domestic and foreign tourists throughout October,” Staničić said, stressing the importance of compliance with epidemiological measures during one’s holiday.

He also announced the second part of the campaign aimed at domestic tourists “Experience local. Explore rural Croatia!”, which was launched this year with the aim of stimulating domestic tourist turnover through discovering rural destinations.
