Prosciutto, pršut or air-dried ham is a favorite Croatian cold platter starter and national pride for decades.

It can be made in different ways depending on the region, and in Lika we like our pršut smoked, drying in the cold wind for a few months and left to age.

Every pršut is specific due to the conditions of the local micro-climate, and every producer has his own little secrets often passed down through generations.
